CONTENT AND NEW FOCUS
The timber sector is in constant and fast growth. There are always new technical solutions to respond to the market requests. In the seminar we will concentrate on 3 dierent sessions: vision and challenges, construction and finance, envelopes and connections. After each session there will be a discussion among the speakers and participants of the seminar. The main topics are going to be the challenges and potential of Mass Engineered Timber (MET) in tropical regions, the management of building sites and design challenges, the use of innovative timber structural materials, the innovative connections, the durability, waterproofing and airtightness. Finally, we will talk about the financial advantages of timber and the sustainability. There will be plenty of opportunities to address and discuss the future of timber construction as well as a tour of real timber building sites in the area with the transport and organization included in the price (participation is not mandatory, confirmed only if there are enough subscriptions)
